The management overseas the daily running of the KADIPA office. They ensure that all the policies of the Government with regards the business environment and investment promotion are pursued vigorously to achieve the desired results.

The management is headed by an Executive Secretary and four other highly skilled and thoroughbred professionals. Below are the profiles of the members of the management team

Sabiu Sani Ismail
Executive Secretary

Sabiu Sani Ismail is the Executive Secretary of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency.

He brings over 25 years wealth of experience and expertise from the private sector with working experience in various capacities, as Regional Manager, Head (Agribusiness and Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises – MSME) for Unity Bank. Until his appointment, he was the Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Industrial and Microcredit Board.

He has a Masters degree in Business Administration, Post Graduate Diploma in Management and a  Bachelors Degree in Agriculture from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.

He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria with various awards of excellence and commendations from the banking sector.
He is result oriented and thrives on excellent service delivery with a passion for creativity, innovation and agriculture.

Sabiu Sani Ismail is happily married with kids.

Muhammad Hafiz Bayero
Head, Investor relations

Muhammad Hafiz Bayero studied at the University of Aston in Birmingham, England, where he obtained a degree in Chemical Engineering. He also has an M.Sc. in Process Engineering and Business from the University of Warwick. He has worked with the Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG). He is a co-founder of the Rescue Kaduna Group and was a member of the Infrastructure sub-committee of the Transition Committee.

He served as the Administrative Secretary in the Steering Committee (the highest decision making body) of Governor Nasir El-Rufai’s Gubernatorial Campaign Organization. He was also a member of the Committee on Civil Societies and NGOs during the campaign.

In Government, he currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Job Creation and at the same time, Head of Investor Relations Department at the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency in the office of the Governor.

Shizzer Nasara Bada
Head, Administration and Finance

Shizzer Bada is currently the General Manager for Finance & Administration KADIPA. She has a degree in Accounting from the Ahmadu Bello University and an MBA at same.  She is a member of Certified Public Accountants (UK), a fellow of the West African Society for Communications and Administration, a Certified National Accountant (CNA), a member Nigerian Institute of Management,  Certified Information Systems Auditor(CISA),CPA(Nigeria) and a member of other professional bodies.

She worked as a management consultant with Birc Consulting Ltd, World Bank Project Accountant, Royal Bank of Scotland (UK), O2 UK Ltd, Nehemiah Housing Projects (UK) and Oasis International Centre (UK). She was the pioneer  Project Coordinator for Kaduna Geographical Information Services  and has also worked with the National Emergency Management Agency and Nigerian Investment Promotion Agency.

In her spare time, she loves to travel, work in Media and Creative Arts and making a difference in the lives of the less privileged.

Hadiza Yahaya Hamza (Mrs)
Head PPP and Privatization

Hadiza was born in Kaduna, Kaduna State. She attended the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in Kaduna State and graduated with a B.SC Degree in Business Administration in 1998. After the compulsory National Youth Corps programme she joined the Bureau of Public Enterprises as an Enterprise Officer. Hadiza has held various positions rising to Principal Enterprise Officer.  While at the BPE she participated in the divestiture of Federal Government of Nigeria’s shareholding in oil marketing companies, cement companies, and banks through Initial Public Offering of the shares of the companies on the Nigerian Stock Exchange as well the introduction of private sector participation in various public enterprises including the Nigerian Railway Corporation.

While in active service, Hadiza received her master of Business Adminsration degree from Ahmadu Bello University in 2004.  After serving eight years at the BPE, Hadiza joined the Office of the Chief Economic Adviser to the President as an Embedded Consultant under the UK DFID Nigeria Infrastructure Advisory Facility (NIAF) programme in 2009 and provided support on the Transport Aspects of the 7 Point Policy Agenda of President Umaru Musa Yaradua’s Adminstration.  Between 2010 and 2014 Hadiza has worked on several projects at the Nigerian Infrastructure Advisory Facility including the appraisal of critical infrastructure projects for the Infrastructure Technical Working group of the then National Economic Management Team including the Abuja Rail Mass Transit, the standard gauge Abuja – Kaduna as well as the remodeling works of the Lagos, Enugu and Abuja Airports. Others include Development of Project Screening Templates for the Office of the CEA and Monitoring and Evaluation. 

Hadiza joined the Kaduna State Government in October of 2015 as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Investment Promotion. In addition to her role as the SSA to the Governor, she became the Head, PPP & Privatisation of the Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency in May 2016.

Nufi Barnabas Yohanna
Head Legal/ Legal Adviser

Nufi is a Lawyer with over a decade experience in the area of Corporate and Commercial Law, Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution, Regulatory Compliance Real Estate and Infrastructure.

A graduate of law from University of Abuja, Nufi had served as an intern in the Law Firm of Chris Uche (SAN) and Co, as a Counsel in the Law firms of O.A. Omonuwa (SAN) and Co and Zakari A. Sogfa and Co. He was the Managing Partner of Mutum Solicitors before his appointment as the Technical Assistant (SAD) Legal Matters, Kaduna State Government House.
